There is nothing to gate
Arivu is free and open. There is no account, no registration, and no cookie wall. The first thing a visitor meets is not a negotiation. You can read, filter, download and cite everything on this platform without identifying yourself.
What we collect
We run cookieless, proxied analytics with no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. We do not build a profile of you. If you submit a correction or claim a profile, we hold only the information you provide, and we publish corrections with the name of the person who found them, with their consent.
The corrections record
When a correction is published, the contributor's name is shown only where they have agreed to it. Anonymous corrections are logged as anonymous. We do not silently amend.
Alignment
Our handling of personal data is aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Where our data derives from data.gov.in, it is licensed under the Government Open Data Licence — India and contains no personal data beyond the public company register.
